Sunset beach restaurants
At night, the beach comes alive with countless restaurants placing candlelit tables and chairs right on the sand. It’s a lovely experience to eat fresh seafood with your feet in the sand while the waves of the bay lap the shoreline. The kids can play in the sand and enjoy the hawkers delights of Glo sticks, kites and more! We prefer the Uluwatu end of the beach, the further away from the airport to avoid the bus loads of tourists.
If you’re looking for something to eat and ready to break from the beach, head to Balique, a café/restaurant offering a winning combo of European and Indonesian choices. There is also a sweet homewares shop next door.
Grocer & Grind
For a REAL coffee fix then don’t look any further than Grocer & Grind, where you can also grab a tasty bite to eat or stock up on gourmet goodies for the villa.
