Ocean activities take front row with surfing, snorkelling, diving and paddle boarding a popular way to spend the day for Nusa Lembongan holidaymakers and families. If you are looking for things to do in Nusa Lembongan other than beach and boating, exploring the island by scooter is also popular. A Fun Nusa lembongan activity for kids is to fly a kite, or take a village tour to learn about local life and the seaweed farming industry.

Island Buggy Hire
On a small island there are few means of transport. Scooters can be hired, but often they don’t supply helmuts. Many families opt for an explore in a buggy which can be a lot of fun. This way you can get the lay of the land, and check out the main areas. Dream Beach, Sandy Bay, the port area and main town of Jungut Batu and Mushroom Beach. Ask your Villa Manager to help arrange a Buggy or Scooters for hire and have an adventure.
Snorkelling and Stand Up Paddle
There are many day tours and hire operators for snorkeling, stand up paddle, glass bottom boat trips, banana boat and more! Once you are in Lembongan your Villa team will help you arrange a boat trip or activity to your liking! Mushroom beach is a great base for families looking to explore the beach as well as do some water based activities.
The Coconut Hut Mini Golf
Bring the kids and enjoy hilarious fun on the 18 hole mini golf course. Add to that a great kids menu, ice cold drinks for mum and dad, plus funky beats, and you’ve got yourself a fantastic family activity, island style!
Cross the big Yellow Bridge
Connecting Nusa Lembongan to its little island sister, Nusa Ceningan, the famous Yellow Bridge can only be crossed by scooter or by foot. This Yellow Bridge is a fun landmark, with its vibrant yellow suspended over turquoise seas beneath. At night, this legendary landmark lights up too! There are also litte boats at this point that can ferry you across to Nusa Cenigan Island for some more adventure.
The Sand Ceningan
A laid-back and breezy toes-in-the-sand beach bar right by the ocean on Nusa Ceningan, The Sand is where you’ll find Instagrammable swings suspended over the water, and a menu of nibbles to help fuel a daytime sesh in the sunshine. You’ll want to bring your swimmers to this one… the kids love exploring about in the water and hammoks.
Snorkeling
Nusa Lembongan is home to stunning, crystal-clear waters and some of the most diverse reefs on the planet (you can spot Manta Rays and Mola-Mola if you’re lucky!) so a snorkelling trip is an absolute must. Your Villa Manager can help you to arrange a boat trip.
Or if you’re not so keen on a boat, simply hire a snorkel and mask and explore the calm waters from the beach at mushroom or tamarind bay.
LAGO FLOATING PONTOON
Directly out the front of Lago cafe is the Lago Floating Pontoon. You can paddle out or reach by boat for drinks and relax on the floating bar. Ask at Lago café about the boat out there or request your snorkelling boat driver take you there for a stopover. You can watch the surfers at Playgrounds and Lacerations breaks and swim of the side too.
