Villa Arika is a 4-bedroom luxury villa on an undulating and expansive piece of prime beachfront real estate, in the Balinese village of Pererenan Canggu.

The timeless Villa is decorated in an eclectic fashion with a very tasteful mix of classic wood and marble pieces along with more contemporary rattan furniture. The cushions and silk pillows are made of fabrics from all over Asia and are in rich hues of purple and gold. The artwork has been collected by the owner the past 25 years and is from some of Indonesia’s most famous artists. Come to Villa Arika prepared to indulge in serenity and peace, under a canopy of palm trees, looking across a wonderfully private stretch of beach, where you’ll have exclusive “front-row” views of some of the best sunsets in Bali.

The main living area offers a large and casual open-air retreat for relaxing and enjoying the ocean views across the pool. Adjoining the living area is an enclose-able dining room with seating for eight. On the opposite side of the main living area is a large, air-conditioned TV/entertainment room as well as a more-than-ample library of books to enjoy. This room is situated directly next door to the downstairs master bedroom, so works well to sleep children also.

This main bedroom and ensuite with outdoor shower and oversized tub enjoys views out onto the expansive, palm-studded lawn and beach. Upstairs is the master suite and bathroom. Ocean views from the second floor are even more spectacular than those downstairs, and from the east-facing window in the bedroom, Bali’s tallest and most sacred volcanic peak, Mount Agung, can often be seen peaking out from the clouds. Both bedroom suites in the main structure are air conditioned. There are two additional sleeping pavilions which are separate from the main living structure. These air-conditioned pavilions have ocean views, ensuite bathrooms with large bathtub and an outdoor shower and private garden and are beautifully finished with wooden floors and king sized beds. Both of these pavilions also have large outdoor patio verandas with large cushioned day beds.

Outdoor amenities include a beautiful, infinity-edge swimming pool set amidst gentle rolling lawn and garden areas. Additional requests are catered to such as in house massage, yoga classes, babysitting and cultural tours. The staff are professional and attentive whilst also allowing for guest privacy. The in house chef can prepare your meals or enjoy the areas amazing cafes and restaurants.

The Villa is located about 20 minutes north of Seminyak at the northern end of Echo Beach. The beaches in this area have dark grey or black sand and while being good for swimming, they also offer some renowned and challenging surfing spots. Pererenan has several excellent cafes and quaint spas to enjoy with the hive of activity in central Canggu also at your fingertips.

There are vast areas of rice paddies with quietly undulating terrain offering expansive views of the volcanic mountains to the north and north-east and also to the south across Jimbaran Bay to Bali’s southern-most peninsula, called the Bukit. The area is also popular with many expatriates who choose to live away from the bustle of Seminyak, and also a favorite spot for sunset lovers. Villa Arika has it all and is a special place indeed.
