Villa Yoga features traditional architecture ruled by stunning alang-alang roofed pavilions and natural interior designs, characterized by beautiful hand-carved teak furniture. The Villa also has an impressive collection of traditional artwork to admire, from different islands across Indonesia. With a total of 7 bedrooms spread out across the expansive property and a large open-plan yoga studio that overlooks the sparkling swimming pool, this villa is ideal for holding special events and it is especially perfect for family gatherings or retreats. Guests can choose to use 5 or 6 of the bedrooms at reduced rates outside of peak season.
Given the size and beauty of the Villa, it is also a great choice for large family groups wishing to stay in the heart of the action. There are great areas to come together as a group, as well as cosy little hang out spots to enjoy some quiet time in the beautiful tropical garden. There are nooks for curling up with a good book or watching a movie on the big flat-screen TV with DVD-player. The huge square teak dining tables, one located inside and one outside on the breezy veranda, make great places for meals while the breakfast-bar in the fully equipped kitchen, makes a nice place to enjoy a coconut water or coffee in the early morning before the day starts!
The Villa is in a prime Seminyak location so guests can easily reach cafes, restaurants and convenience stores. Delivery meals are easy to arrange and guests can also make use of the Villas kitchen. If you want a special meal prepared at home, a freelance chef can be arranged at an additional fee.
Villa Yoga is located in a sidelane from Seminyak’s main shopping street Jalan Raya Basangkasa, otherwise known as ‘eat street’. You can easily explore its lively center on foot. There are tons of boutique shops, souvenir shops and fashion stores around for the shopaholics among us. For the chicest boutiques, head towards Oberoi Road and Petitenget. Spa lovers will be happy to know that there are also lots of massage and beauty salons and Seminyak is also one of the most sought after towns for fine dining with amazing restaurants such as the beachfront La Lucciola, Potato Head, Sarong and Mexicola. When the sun is about to set, make sure you are lounging at KU DE TA beach club or chilling out at La plancha on the beach of Seminyak – the sunset is breathtaking and the cocktails are delicious!
All the bedrooms feature air-conditioning, big wardrobe closets, private veranda’s with garden view and wonderful private en-suite bathrooms fitted with tropical alfresco rain-showers. The main house has 3 of the bedrooms on the first floor, including the opulent master suite. Two of these rooms are adjoined to a beautiful teak wooden terrace where you can wake up slowly, gazing at the lovely view over the garden and pool. The master room boasts a large bathtub to soak in for ultimate relaxation. The other four bedrooms are tucked in private garden bungalows. All of these secluded bedrooms are fitted with king-size or twin-beds which can be joined together to make one large double or even a triple-bed in one of the rooms.
Seven bedrooms in all, the property consists of three large bedrooms upstairs and four bungalows on the ground floor. The master bedroom is one of the three located upstairs, enjoying a spacious suite with a sofa lounge on one side and a king-size bed wrapped in canopy netting on the other. The master en-suite bathroom is indoor/outdoor, with a rain shower under the open sky and a stone wash basin in front of the mirror. The bi-folding doors open up the room entirely to the outside terrace, which connects to the bedroom next door and enjoys fantastic views of the towering palm trees and the garden down below. The rest of the guest bedrooms are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and single or king beds, while all but one have their own terraces or balconies and folding-panel walls. Reclaimed teak floors and neutral colors make for a cool, earthy atmosphere, coupled nicely with thatched-roof ceilings and tropical garden bathrooms. Of the seven bedrooms, four of them can be configured as twin beds on request giving great flexibility for groups.
The main indoor pavilion features a large square dining table, fully-equipped kitchen and bar and cozy living room. The lounge has a TV, coffee table and book shelf for holiday reading. All around the villa you will find sculptures and art work representative of the Timor and Hindu cultures, adding a touch of ethnic flavour to the natural atmosphere.
Step outside to find the 25 meter swimming pool that runs the length of the garden and the iron wood deck flaunting rows of day beds, umbrellas and a swinging hammock. Situated in between the tropical flora and the living pavilions is the villa’s one-of-a-kind, open-air yoga studio. This stunning studio features hardwood floors, a vaulted ceiling, fans and yoga equipment; use this space to host a group workshop or spend time with the family time perfecting your practice while in Bali. Little guests also love this shady place for play time!
This Villa is a great choice for those wishing to be center of Seminyak, with an enormous pool as the highlight.
