Palatial Luxury Set Amidst The Rice Paddies
There is something for each and every member of your family at this incredibly luxurious and astoundingly spacious villa. Kids will love the freedom to run around and explore the grounds, granddad can put his feet up and read a book in the air conditioned library, mum and dad can take some time out and do some sun salutations in the yoga space or work out in the gym and everyone will love splashing in the 25 metre swimming pool…or at least lounging on a deckchair poolside!
Take advantage of the tropical Balinese climate and relax in the open-air living, dining and bar area overlooking the swimming pool. Should the air-conditioned comfort of indoor living be more to your taste, head to the lounge, with its luxurious velvet seating and formal dining area with ten-seater table. Alternatively, the media room, with its 62-inch TV screen, DVD player, surround-sound system and expanse of comfortable sofa seating, offers you a fabulous cinema-like experience.
At the far end of the pool lies the villa’s impressive library. With its enormous L-shaped sofa, 43-inch television, Bose sound system, collection of books and a coffee-bar area, this room offers guests the ultimate retreat.
Perhaps the villa’s most unique feature is its impressive Teppanyaki pavilion, which lies alongside the swimming pool. Kids will love watching the chef slice, dice, chop and grill their meals!
If parents want to retreat for an afternoon drink they can head to the sunset terrace and watch as the sky becomes a blaze of colour.
There are plenty of places to rest your head but the most glamorous of all is the master bedroom which comes with its own private balcony. The second bedroom sits opposite and whilst not as big, is equally light and airy.
Bedrooms 3 and 4, located alongside the swimming pool, are ideal for families travelling with little kids as they both have twins which can be converted to kings . The rooms are connected by a solid teak door, which can be opened to make one big family suite. Wide glass doors open onto furnished poolside terraces.
Bedroom five is located in a private spot in the garden close to the yoga studio while bedrooms six and seven are also great for families as they feature twin beds and an outdoor balcony, offering a great spot to relax and take some time out.
During your stay you’ll be looked after by a team of eighteen highly professional and caring staff. With so much on offer at Villa Malaathina, you may never want to leave, but if you do fancy a change of scenery, Seminyak, with its world-class restaurants, bars and boutiques, is only a short drive away, and the spectacular surf spots of Berawa and Echo Beach just a few kilometres down the road.
