This luxurious yet casual seven bedroom villa is made up of a series of traditional Balinese pavilions set around two glistening swimming pools and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Offering a selection of communal areas as well as private spaces, it’s the perfect layout for extended families or groups of friends to get away from it all, while remaining close to the restaurants, shops and nightlife of Canggu. There is a five bedroom main Villa with a neighbouring two bedroom that connect through a wooden doorway, which combined make up the seven bedroom estate. The two dwellings share a private and secure car parking area and entrance.

The Villa is ideally located within walking distance to Desa Seni, the luxurious Yoga centre. A collection of cool shops, funky cafes like Bungalow Living, Milk & Madu and Made Warung are close by too. Berawa, the nearest beach and home to the famous Finn’s Club, is a mere two minute drive away. Echo Beach, with its many casual cafes and restaurants such as The Lawn, La Brisa or Old Man’s, are about 10 minutes by car. Seminyak with its wide choice of chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, lavish spas and elegant boutiques are a further 15 minute drive away. Or just switch off the phone, relax and enjoy everything this stunning villa has to offer.

Five Bedroom Villa Desa Roro

All five air-conditioned bedrooms are spaced throughout the four pavilions of the villa and come with king-size beds draped in mosquito netting, ensuite bathrooms with single or double basins made from ancient Chinese ceramic bowls and walk-in rain showers.

The main living area has an open plan kitchen, living and lounge and houses two generous bedrooms. The sliding doors can be open or shut for the evening with tropical breezes during the day. One of the two bedrooms located in the main living pavilion enjoys a private shaded terrace with rattan armchairs looking over the garden, while the second room boasts serene views of the ornamental lotus pond.

The master bedroom occupies in an entire pavilion and can be accessed from the side of the main living pavilion on the wooden walk-way above the ornamental pond or the sliding glass doors from the pool deck. It offers privacy, yet is also close to the other bedrooms. Rattan armchairs and a small sofa provide a cosy spot for morning coffee. The bathroom has the added luxury of a bathtub and a private massage table. And should you need to log onto your emails urgently, you can do so from the desk made from reclaimed wood.

In the third stand alone pavilion facing the pool, two smaller bedrooms make up the guest suites, similar in design they share a communal living space with several sitting areas to enjoy. Guests can choose to gather together on the four armchairs and play at one of the many vintage board games available. Or simply relax on the sofa or enjoy a glass of wine at the rattan table with four matching chairs located at the front of the pavilion. This pavilion works well for parents with young children to be sleeping close by or for older children alone while their parents enjoy the main house and master room!

The open-sided living room overlooks the pool, garden and pond, and functions as the central congregating spot for guests. A collection of paintings, exotic artefacts from the Indonesian archipelago and South East Asia lend the villa its unique style and ambience. Under the soaring roof of the wooden joglo, guests can get together on one of the two comfortable sofas. To the side a solid teak dining table and comfortable rattan chairs can accommodate six people for a formal dinner. Next to the dining area is a modern kitchen, equipped with a wine fridge and all the modern appliances and amenities.

At the centre-stage of the villa is the 12 meter swimming pool surrounded by a sociably-sized wooden pool deck, making it the ideal place for entertaining and lounging. Single and double sun loungers with umbrellas are placed around the pool to soak up Bali’s sunshine. Located at the end of the pool, behind the master suite, is an elevated mini yoga studio for those wanting to spend a quiet morning of meditation while enjoying the view of the sparkling pool.

The two delightful air-conditioned bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds cocooned by billowing mosquito nets, crisp white linens and a unique decor blending contemporary design and tropical chic. The spacious ensuite bathrooms are fitted with single or twin washbasins and walk-in rain showers. One room enjoys a private shaded terrace with rattan armchairs looking over the sparkling pool and a traditional Balinese Bale, while the second room boasts serene views of the ornamental pond. Both bedrooms connect to the main living area, which can be closed at night so families are all together under the same roof.

At the center of the villa, the living area offers a large and casual open-air retreat for relaxing and enjoying the views of the tropical garden and swimming pool. Cooled by ceiling fans, the space is furnished with comfortable sofas, several armchairs and a coffee table. The contemporary furnishings blend effortlessly with traditional antique Balinese pieces. A dining table with seating for six is available for formal dining while next to the fully equipped modern kitchen, a wooden table with four matching benches is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon snack. The 12-metre pool is perfect for a refreshing dip. Four comfortable loungers are set on the wooden deck to soak up Bali’s tropical sunshine.
