Villa Tanjung is a luxury, architecturally designed villa offering 6, 5 or 4 bedroom options and occupies a spectacular cliff-top setting,

The villa is only 200 metres from a beautiful, sandy and secluded beach which locals call “Secret Beach”. The staff can assist you in accessing this beach where you will feel the true essence of island life with your toes in white sand and refreshing ocean dips in the crystal clear waters.

Enter the Villa through the antique wooden gate, meander up the path through the Balinese landscaped garden, past the stone clad bedroom suites to the spectacular living dining pavilion.

Suddenly the ocean, Lembongan’s famous surf breaks, the nearby island Bali and its sacred volcano Mt Agung appear right in front of you.

The buildings include 6 bedroom suites and an open air living and dining pavilion.

The dramatic living/dining pavilion is innovative in its design, using grand spans of laminated bamboo along with natural bamboo components to create a breath-taking space. The gentle curved shape of both the pavilion and the infinity pool in front of it follow the natural shape of the site on this pronounced headland, embracing the panoramic ocean views. The alang–alang (thatched grass) roof over the pavilion allows it to blend seamlessly into the natural landscape of Nusa Lembongan.

The villa’s gardens were designed by Made Wijaya, Bali’s leading landscape architect.

Villa Tanjung prides itself on a being child-friendly, there is a large grassed area for children to play and within the pool is a shallow paddle area for toddlers.

One of the joys of staying at a private villa is not having to leave, Villa Tanjung offers an in-villa dining menu and beverage service for guests so you can relax all day at the villa.

Bedrooms

Villa Tanjung is designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in six bedroom suites. However, we can accommodate update to 14 by using two folding beds, noting with three guests in one room reduces the spaciousness of the rooms and the luxury feel of the villa.

Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. All bedroom suites have spectacular ocean views.

The master suite features a king size bed, a large walk in dressing room (with a day bed) and a very large bathroom with open air shower.

Four other bedroom suites are configured to suit either family occupancy with connecting door access between two adjoining suites – or four separate lockable bedroom suites. Two of the rooms have a king size beds. The other two rooms have two single beds which can be configured to a king bed. A recently added sixth bedroom, located next to the master suite offers the option of either king or twin bed setup.

Living

The dramatic living & dining pavilion is open air on two sides to take advantage of the breath-taking views. The seating area surrounds an antique coffee table, the perfect place for conversation, reading or watching TV. The teak dining table can seat 12 guests in comfort. The teak high- bar table with stools is ideal for informal drinks and is adjacent to the two self-service mini-bars and tea/coffee facilities. The antique day bed directly facing the ocean is ideal for reading or just watching the boats go by as you reflect on your day in paradise or plan island activities for tomorrow.

In front of the living/dining pavilion is the pool, curved shaped to follow the natural shape of the headland. A pool fence can be installed on request. Within the pool is a shallow paddle area for toddlers.

Unusually for Lembongan, Villa Tanjung has extensive landscaped gardens with large grassed areas.

There is direct private access to the ocean via stone steps leading down to a stainless steel ladder. The waters around Villa Tanjung are clean and clear with abundant coral, ideal for confident ocean swimmers and snorkellers.

Nusa Lembongan has a great range of restaurants, cafes, local warungs and beach clubs for guests to enjoy. Most of these offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service, reservations can be made for you by the staff team.
