Finns Recreation Club
Formerly known as The Canggu Club, this facility has all the fun for kids holidaying in the area. You can also use the family friendly restaurant while the kids can have a run on the lawn.
The Club features a complete Fitness Centre including lap pool and sports ground, Tennis Centre, Body Temple Spa, Sports Bar, Multiple Restaurants plus much more….
Splash Water Park, Bounce Trampoline Centre, Strike Ten Pin Bowling and Cubby House Kids Club are all there!
Day Passes &Weekly Memberships are available at Reception.
Finns Beach Club
Absolute beachfront in front of the famous Berawa surf break, Finns Canggu is essentialy a beach club with pool. Visitors can laze away the day in the sun from the comfort of deluxe day beds, enjoy the beach scene or swim in a stunning 30 metre infinity edge pool with swim up pool bar (and underwater speakers). The striking bamboo structure was specifically designed to allow every guest to have a guaranteed sunset view. Resident DJ’s from 4pm and meals from 9am onwards.
CUBBY HOUSE KIDS CLUB
Toddlers and kids aged between 2 – 12 years can enjoy the indoor Cubby House every day from 10am to 6pm, and what makes this Kids Club unique is that it is open to everyone, and not part of a hotel set up.
There are movies and computers with games available, so screen time is likely for older children while in the club.
We think it is more suited to under 7 years of age, and a safe place to leave the kids for a couple of hours for some time out of the sun.
You can pop across to the spa for a massage or do a spot of shopping. You can also order meals for the kids at reception and packages start from 2 hours.
The Splash Water Park
Splash Water Park is located in the Finns Recreation Club and is home to a range of fantastic slides and facilities that will keep the kids entertained for hours. Possibly the thought of a water park sounds hectic and crazy, but Splash is the perfect size for you to be able to keep an eye on the kids whilst you plonk down on a sunbed.
There are also trained lifeguards on duty at all times to help keep an eye on things.
The Giant Racing Slide should be enough for your little adrenaline junkies. At five storeys high, four lanes across and 90 metres long, this slide even allows you time yourself to see how fast you’ve gone. There is a range of slides for smaller kids, a playground giant swimming pool and even a swinging rope.
Best of all, the queues are usually small or non existent! The Park has a range of food outlets with some healthier options, so staying there all day is easy.
Also located in the Finns compound near across the road near the tennis courts is a Bali’s first indoor trampoline centre and is dedicated to fun… and wearing out the kids!
The trampolines have specially designed spring loaded frames, so the bounce is higher than on your usual backyard trampoline. Thick safety pads cover all the springs and frames, so you can relax knowing the kids are relatively safe.
Catering for all ages, the centre is a great option for a fun day out. Sessions start every hour on the hour, so best to plan your arrival to avoid waiting around.
There is a café upstairs though so you can grab a bite to eat. Upstairs you will also find the Ten Pin Bowling http://strikebali.com
Let the good times roll at Strike Ten Pin Bowling! We find that adults enjoy bowling as much as the kids, and on a rainy day or as an after dinner treat, this can be a lot of fun.
Strike offers the latest, most modern tenpin bowling experience in Bali. They have six lanes and there are bumpers for the kids (or anyone else!) to stop the ball going into the gutter if you like.
Strike also has an air conditioned restaurant and bar area serving food and drinks, from here you can watch the kids at Bounce Trampoline as well. Bring your own socks and bowling shoes are provided. It is loud and there is nothing tropical or Balinese about the place, but the kids love it!
The Garden Kids Club
The Garden Bali is an early learning centre and preschool mostly for ex-pat children living in Bali. However they also welcome tourists in their hourly kids club for those over two years old. Younger children are welcome but a parent or babysitter needs to stay with them. They are open on the weekends as well which is an added bonus!
They have a lovely indoor air-conditioned room with lots of nice toys, crafts and areas for the kids to relax. The garden is also a lovely space with tunnels, climbing a mud kitchen and a treehouse with slide. There are also some rabbits which add to the charm. Check the web site for parent and baby sensory group play, its just gorgeous! We were lucky enough for our boys to attend preschool / day care at The Garden and just love it.
Tamora Gallery & Playground
Located on the same strip as the famed Finns Beach Club, and only a ten minute drive into Seminyak, Tamora Gallery is a handy family hangout – with shops, cafés and a great playground.
We love Miss Ibu restaurant and Lyfe in Bali concept store. This little shopping collection makes a great stop over and play. They hold lots events that are aimed at not only keeping kids happy, but making sure parents are enjoying themselves as well.
Koncrete Skate Park
This is a skate board park in Berewa, Canggu. It’s a swimming pool shaped skate bowl are where they can skate as much as they like throughout the day. And if they get hungry there’s a restaurant next door that serves decent food. Not just for the kids, adults can come here and relax too. You may not have your wheels on holiday, but kids love to watch and it makes for an interesting café session.
Canggu has long been a surf destination, the Villas shops and cafes have developed around the waves. The surf can pretty good for beginners and intermediate surfers as well as more experienced board riders too.
If learning or having a go is something you might like to do in Canggu, get in touch with one of these surf schools. They also offer free pick ups in the Canggu area. At Old Mans beach you can hire a long board and have a go in the shallows.
